Quote Of The Week
" It Never gets easier, you just get better "
The day started badly with an Initial 14 man squad reduced to 9 before 9.30. With Neil unwell, Tony A.W.O.L and Gary Still On it from the night before, emergency phone calls were made to Colin! He obliged, and with Gary and Lee on route via a £35 cab, things were looking up .
If not vocally then certainly mentally, we all knew this team were there for the taking following our 8-1 beating of them on the opening day of the season.
Loko started strong straight from kick off as the ball went wide to Dave, who's deliveries today were spot on, and this ball was no different as it picked out Hayden, who controlled and got a shot away only for the keeper to get down low and make a great save! Lee's late arrival didn't effect his performance as he continued to play his high tempo high energy game. It was Lee who opened the scoring with a fantastically weighted and selected ball from the back by Mark R with Lee not needing any encouragement to shoot, as the keeper was unable to hold as it dribbled past him. 1-0
As every week Luke was not gonna be outdone as five minutes later he found himself on the end of a James T run and somehow their keeper fumbled the ball into his path. For a split second Luke thought he was going to be candidate for miss of the season however it wasn't to be as his lunge pushed the ball into the net. 2-0
Ashford had hardly any possession as Loko dominated in every position of the field . The one attack they put together saw their striker go through one on one with Colin, but our keeper wanted his clean sheet today! A great reaction save that pushed the ball towards goal where Scott ( not for the first time this season ) produced a great goal line clearance.
At the other end James went on a great run right on the touch line, passed three players and produced a `magical pinpoint cross towards goal, that met the head of a jumping Luke to head home.3-0
Confidence was among us with some nice passing both forward and backwards and for once we held onto the ball. Danny was immense at right back, consistently running past a covering Hayden to attack as well as some great defending. Masons slide tackles are becoming trademark and so timely, he won them all to halt any attack Ashford had. Dave consistently put good balls in from the left and chances were plentiful.
Half Time
Matt reminded us all of the perils of slacking off in the second half and becoming complacent. He led by example trying to rally the team to defend and press, as well as attack. Attack Loko did. Shots from Lee, Hayden and James were plentiful as well as an unlucky audacious lob attempt from Dave.
Gary was on for Lee with his first big header reminding him of a great night the night before.

Another great ball into the box yet again was met by Luke who punished Ashford. Hatrick!! 4-0
Luke wasn't finished, a cross from the left was met by the head of Hayden that put Luke through to finish a volley for his fourth. 5-0
Mason also went on a few runs straight through the middle of the park and his shots were unlucky.
Ashford badly wanted to score and nearly did on a couple of occasions . Colin stood up though with a superb save, and after Mark and Hayden's missed sliding tackles Danny, yet again, got it spot on and stopped the twisting defender scoring. Another attack down our right stopped by Hayden. Yes we dropped of slightly and against better opposition we may of well been punished.
James finished off the performance with a shot from the edge of the box that their keeper couldn't hold onto. 6-0

Weekly 3 Questions
Did we deserve to win? Yes
Did we put it in today? Yes
Man Of The Match?
The defense, Mark, Scott and Danny, were good today and the clean sheet rewarded them for their performance, and also a special mention to Danny Tysoe, I thought he was brilliant today with tireless runs and great defending however, With 4 goals, the M.O.M award has to go to one man, Luke Stanton take a bow!
Admittedly this team were not great ( especially the keeper ). Gary believes it's hard to give praise to anyone in particular when the opposition is so weak. You can only beat what's in front of you, and maybe the fact they weren't a strong opposition, made a few of us look good? If that's the case then so be it. We have undoubtedly been unlucky this season and if results were taken from first half scorelines we would be top of the league #fact
With one game left to play in this calendar year, a win would lift us out of the bottom two and set us up nicely for 2016.
Weeks Positives:
Clean Sheet a Win and Six Goals and great commitment from Colin!
Weeks Negatives:
Morning Panic to fulfill a team ( Only one I can think Of )
