Loko 3 vs Parthenope 4
A GAME OF TWO HALVES AND CRAZY 10 MINUTES
Today's game pressented a golden opportunity for Loko to win three points against a team that hasn't had much luck this season and is languishing at the bottom of our division.
The first few minutes were very uneventful though with most of the game taking place in the Parthenope half but not much danger being created.
This all changed on 17 minutes, though, when a Matt corner found ADAM who powered his header into the keeper's bottom right corner.

Things got even better on 35 minutes when JAMES shook off his marker and unleashed one of his trademark curlers in the keeper's far corner from 25 yards out.

Despite Parthenope being dangerous with their forays down our left wing in particular, Loko kept them in check but were lucky not to concede on several occasions mainly because the Parthenope forwards tended to sky most of their efforts.
At half time, Matt reminded the squad that despite the score being favourable to us we were always at risk of a comeback - little did he know how prescient his words were to be.
With Loko still holding their own it was becoming obvious through that the midfield were finding it hard to contain the fitter Parthenope players who were causing us a lot of headaches.
In a crazy spell between the 50th and 59th minutes Loko conceded 3 goals in quick succession - first from a corner that was headed in the back of the net, followed by two efforts low to the ground. Loko were now completely bewildered and clearly seeing that a game that was there for the taking was now slipping away.
As Colin collected the 3rd goal from the back of his net, Beni came on for Hayden and Ivan came on for Gary this giving Adam a chance of slotting into midfield and going on some of the forward surges he is so fond of.
On 67 minutes ADIL pounced when their keeper fumbled a ball that ended up spnning out of his hands and up in the air only for our number 9 to slot it into the empty goal.
Loko were now becoming more and more ambitious and bombarding the Parthenope goal.
But, on 82 minutes, their number 7 gave the Loko defence the slip from the halfway line and, from a suspect offside position, he covered half of the ground with Ivan in pursuit and crucified Colin to score the match winner.
The last few minutes saw Loko up the tempo like they never did before, getting stuck into every tackle and desperately trying to equalise but it was too late and as the ref blew the final whistle the Loko players left the pitch like knocked out boxers not really sure what had happened to them.

M.O.M: ADAM who was equally superb in defence and in midfield.
Line-up: Colin - Chris, Neil, Adam, Mark - Gary (then Ivan 60'), Danny, Hayden (then Beni, 60') - James, Adil.
