Poland here we come!

This year's 21st Old Boys European Railways Football Tournament will be taking place in Krakow (Poland) from 17th to 19th May 2013. The event pits Loko (representing England) and 7 other European teams representing France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Hungary and Poland.

Tournament format and football venue:
This year, the tournament takes place at KS Hutnik, ie where England trained for Euro 2012, so expect great pitches. The tournament is 11-a-side and it's round robin (2 groups of 4 with the first two through to the semi-finals and possibly final). The teams placed 3rd and 4th battle it out in the play-offs. As the game is played over two days, each match lasts 40 mns. If we make it to the final, we'll end up playing 3.5 hours of football. It's knackering but also great fun and it ends with a gala dinner on the Saturday night complete with Eurotrash music!

Sight-seeing or bird watching? 
If you've never been, Krakow is a beautiful, compact city, ideal for sight-seeing with the mrs (if attached) or great clubs full of hotties (like the one pictured above) if you're single!!

What's the damage? 
The total cost (excluding flights) is 220 euros and includes:
* 2 nights (Bed and Breakfast) at the Novotel Hotel (2 or 3 per room) on 17th and 18th May
* Lunch on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th May
* Buffet dinner on 17th May
* Gala dinner with Awards ceremony on 18th May
* All Hotel-stadium coach transfers

NB: Additional nights 16/17 May or 19/20 May: 40 euros per night
For your info, most of the team tend to book at least one additional night (Thursday evening) so they are fresh for the first game on the Friday.

What's not included?
Flights (on Easyjet, you can currently fly return from £134)
Any incidentals Travel / health insurance

What do I need to do now?

By 1 Feb 2013:
Let us know how many extra nights you need (if applicable)
Let us know your accommodation requirements (eg who you want to share with - or not!)
Pay your 50% deposit (110 euros if only 2 nights + 20 euros per extra night)

By 11 March 2013:
Pay the balance (110 euros if only 2 nights + 20 euros per extra night)
Let us know if any dietary requirements
