Loko News Update - December 2009

Fixtures
There is no game on Sunday 13th December and it is evident after speaking to a number of players that they will not be available on Sunday 20th December, therefore we do not consider that it would be in our best interests to field a weakened team.

In light of us having two games cancelled recently, we unfortunately do not have a game until Sunday 10th January which will be a seven week break without a game and will mean a very busy second half of the season.

We play Pimlico Rangers in our first game back and it would be great if we could get our full team out and gain revenge for our 7-1 defeat on the first game of the season when we were massively under strengh, please prepare to be available on that date.

Christmas Party
It also appears that Saturday 19th December is not suitable for a number of players and time is getting short before Christmas arrives. I therefore recommend that we arrange a night out after the new year when everyone will be available and we can start to get together on a more regular basis to build team spirit and have a little fun away from the football.

Switzerland Tournoi
This is coming along nicely and we already have ten people (eight players) who have bought their flights. It would be good if we could all go out together on the same flight so please check out the Swiss Tournoi 2010 link for all the details. If you book your flights, please let us know which ones you have booked and we'll add you to the list.

Get Well Soon
We would like to wish Terry a speedy recovery from an ear operation that he is having on Wednesday 9th December and hope he is back to join us early in the new year.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2010.
